PhD Symposium – Call for Papers

The PhD Symposium of the WISE Conference 2024 welcomes submissions from PhD students on their ongoing research works related to the main conference topics (Please refer to the examples of covered sub topics here). We are particularly interested in submissions focusing on research areas that aim to maximize the positive impact of the Web (and its underlying information systems) on the society and touch the lives of people in important ways.

The PhD Symposium is an excellent opportunity for PhD students to present and discuss their ongoing research works and receive concrete feedback from experienced researchers, peer PhD students and the conference participants to push their research forward. The symposium will also allow the PhD students to initiate scientific collaborations with researchers from around the world that could be useful to their PhD works and careers.
