The Web has truly revolutionized our lives over the last three decades. People now work, communicate, learn, search for information, transact, and socialize on the Web. We truly live in the Web, no longer outside. The workshop focuses on recent IT innovations and advances that aim to maximize the positive impacts of the Web (and its underlying information systems) on the society and people lives. We welcome scientific contributions from the broad research areas of AI, Data Management, Information systems that aim to build a web that is fair and inclusive to all of its citizens regardless of their demographics and orientations, safe and secure, respectful of its citizens rights, and supportive of the environmentally sustainable growth and prosperity of societies.

Submission Guidelines

All submitted papers must be formatted according to the instructions for submission format for research submissions and must be no longer than 15 pages in the Springer LNCS format. This page limit includes all parts of the paper: title, authors and affiliation, abstract, body, and bibliography. Paper will be selected based on (i) the novelty of the work, (ii) the novelty and the technical quality of the underlying research, and (iii) the impact of the work on the society.

Publication

Please note that for every accepted paper, it is required that at least one person registers for the conference and presents the paper. All accepted papers will be included in the proceedings published as Springer’s LNCS series.
