Call for WWW Posters

The International Web Information Systems Engineering Conference (WISE) and the Springer World Wide Web: Internet and Web Information Systems Journal (a.k.a. WWW Journal) organize the WWW poster track in WISE-2024.

Selected regular research articles that are accepted for WWW in between January 1, 2023 and Nov 30, 2024 will be invited to present a 2-page extended abstract in the proceedings of WISE 2024 and a poster in the poster session of WISE 2024. The selection will be made by the WISE-2024 poster track committee. To submit, please upload the extended abstract to the WWW Poster Track through the submission website. The extended abstract will be reviewed by the poster track committee to ensure the presentation quality.

Submission Guidelines

  1. Authors must specifically use the WISE 2024 proceeding formats.
  2. Title of poster: Use the title of your WWW paper, followed by ‘(Extended abstract)’. The list of authors must be the same as in the accepted WWW paper.
  3. The extended abstract should be a summary of the WWW paper, no additional contributions are required. An example outline can be: Introduction; Motivation and Background Information; Problem Definition; and, Summary of the technical ideas and results as well as an evaluation.
  4. Please provide the acceptance details of your WWW paper and attach an e-copy of your WWW paper to the abstract submission.
  5. The page limit is 2 pages.
  6. All submissions must go through EasyChair system via Easychair

Important Dates

  • Submission Deadline: 30 July, 2024
  • Acceptance/Rejection Notification: 30 August, 2024
  • Camera-Ready Files Submission Deadline: 07 September, 2024

Publication

Please note that for every accepted poster, it is required that at least one person registers for the conference and presents the demo. All accepted posters will be included in the proceedings published as Springer’s LNCS series.
